Field Trips

Learning Through Experience

In general, transportation for these field trips is provided by families. Carpools are encouraged whenever possible and the meeting place will always be at the point of interest. Please indicate on the sign-up sheet if you would like to share a ride.  Cash is preferred for all chaperone fees.  Additionally, new this year, we will be offering e-Funds, a secure online payment service.  At this site, you will register each student enrolled at PACT as well as the parent-teacher and pay for your field trips by using an electronic check ($1 per transaction) or a credit card ($1.95 per transaction).  This eliminates the hassle of having to go to the ATM and then find change for a $20 to pay the chaperone fee.

To register for a field trip, first complete a Field Trip Registration Form (see below) and sign up at the front desk.  When signing up for a field trip and fees are involved, you may pay in cash, write a check (not in all cases), or use the e-fund account. In some cases, siblings may be able to attend and one of the aforementioned payment options may be used.  When checks are acceptable, make them out to NAEF/LTE, unless instructed otherwise.

Cancellation Policy:  Cancellation of a field trip must be made at least 48 hours in advance to allow others the opportunity to attend.  Because field trips are paid in advance, cancellations after the 48 hr. period or not showing up for two field trips within a semester will result in a loss of field trip participation.
