Think Green!
At P.A.C.T. being environmentally conscious is not just a fad, it's an everyday practice. That's why you will see recycle bins in just about every classroom, office, and work area. We also have a recycle dumpster out front so that paper, plastic, and aluminum products get reused and don't go to waste. Due to budget constraints, we have been allocated 25% less paper this year. In fact, our supply for the year has already been received and when it's gone, it's gone. In conjunction with that, our copying budget has been reduced too. When we have reached our quota, we will have to either charge for copies or unplug the machines. To assist us in our endeavors to think green and reduce paper usage, we would like to ask you to limit the amount of copies you make at P.A.C.T., be diligent about copying only what you are sure you will use, and copy front to back whenever possible. You will find that we will be sending newsletters and other information to you via email only to also save on paper. We are looking into scanning student work portfolios so that the files can be saved electronically to further save on paper usage. Every little bit helps and we need your assistance to be successful. So the next time you come to P.A.C.T. think green and help us save paper and the environment!
