Parent Hour Opportunities
Parent Participation Guidelines
- Each family must contribute a minimum of 10 hours per school year.
- A parent hours tally sheet reflecting your year-to-date total will be kept on file at the front desk.
- Hours must be entered on a tally sheet only (you may obtain one from the front desk) and submitted by the 20th of each month. Keep a copy for your records. Hours will not be accepted after two months from the date of service.
- Parents should make every effort to work throughout the year. Families must complete 1/2 of their commitment (5 hours) by February 1st. Families failing to achieve their minimum hoursby this date shall receive a letter informing them of their deficiency.
- All 10 hours must be turned in by May 20th. If you have arranged to help with end of the year activities (those taking place after 5/20), please make a note on your last tally sheet. Include the name of the activity, the date, how many hours you will be working, and a staff signature.
- Up to 6 of your 10 hours may be contributed through donations. Donations are calculated at a rate of $15.00 per hour. You may either pay directly for your hours, donate items needed for class supplies, or a combination of the two. Attach your receipt to your monthly tally sheet and you will be credited 1 hour per $15 spent.
- Hours may not be transferred or given to another family.
- If you are unable to work during your designated time, PLEASE call the PACT and leave a message for the person expecting you.
- New students will have their hour obligation pro-rated (5 hours per semester or 2.5 hours per quarter).
