Dear Potential NCS Parents and Students,

Thank you for your interest in enrolling at one of our Natomas Charter School academies.  We appreciate your time in completing an application packet.  As part of the application process, we have asked for some additional documents and information to best serve your child from the first day he/she enters the school.   Please note that documents requested as part of the application process (i.e. recommendation form) are used for informational purposes only and are not used to determine admissions to Natomas Charter School.

Our application process fully aligns with our core philosophy of knowing and understanding each child’s needs when he/she enters the school; therefore, the recommendation form is simply requesting your child’s previous teacher for any input he/she may wish to provide.  If this is not possible, please be assured that you may simply submit your completed application packet without the recommendation form.

We are now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year.

The Application process for PACT:

You can pick up an application at the PACT office or download it below. In the Packet, you will be asked to fill out various forms. You will also need to provide:

• Student Essay (Grades 3-8)
• Birth Certificate (Kindergartners must be 5 on or before December 2 of current school year)
• Proof of Residence (Current PG&E Bill or SMUD Bill)
• Recommendation Form (by a non-relative only)
• Copy of Last Report Card
• Copy of Immunization Records (K-8) Incoming K-7th graders must have completed the 3 Hepatitis B series, and the 2nd Measles before entering school

Please use the checklist on the last page of the application to ensure that you have all items completed before turning them in at the PACT office.

Once everything has been turned in and complete, it will take approximately 3-4 business days for your application to be processed.  At times, we do have a waiting list, so please ask if there is one.  As soon as everything is processed and your student is enrolled in the program, you will be contacted by your Educational Advisor to schedule your first meeting time.

APPLICATION DEADLINES: In order to begin each semester on the first day, applications must be submitted by 1^st priority deadline of 05/31/2012 or 2^nd priority deadline of 06/22/2012.  Applications will be accepted after the priority deadlines, but applicants may be placed on a waitlist depending on space availability. To ensure your application is processed, please bring ALL requested items to 1172 National Dr., Suite 30 between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  DO NOT EMAIL your application.
