2009 Poetry Jam

This year's Poetry Jam will be held on December 9, 2009.  The Poetry Jam is an event that features Natomas Charter School students in grades K-12 reciting poetry.   Students will compete in the following grade level categories: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.  P.A.C.T. students only will compete at P.A.C.T. at 2:00 in the conference room.  The top three finalists will competing that evening at 6:30p.m. in the Black Box Theater on the Natomas Charter School Campus.  The winners in each category will receive a $25 gift card from Barnes and Noble.  High School finalists will go on to the county and state competiton presented by the National Endowment for the Arts and Poetry Foundation.  Please join us in supporting students and the arts.  Admission is free.
